In honor of our beloved and sacred Constitution of the United States of America, we are officially launching our Constitution Club. We will endeavor to promote a greater understanding and appreciation of the fundamental principles of our founding documents.

Our first series is a DVD lecture program based on the book, The 5000 Year Leap. It is a study of the United States Constitution from a principle based approach. We will learn where the founding Fathers got their ideas for sound government and how a return to these ideas can solve our nations problems today. We will discuss how the United States, throughout its 200 plus years, has either supported the principles of liberty and prospered or violated these principles and suffered.

Meeting notices will be sent the meetings as they are scheduled, along with the topics that will be presented and the optional companion reading from the book, The 5000 Year Leap. We'll also build in time for discussion.

This series would be appropriate for high-school aged kids as well but because of the format would not be appropriate for younger children.

Meeting 7: The seventh meeting and lesson is called "Principle Five: The Role of the Creator". Optional reading pages from The 5000 Year Leap: pp 95-101.

The book is not required for the program but would make a wonderful addition to your library.

Each meeting / lesson will be independent of the others so feel free to drop into any of the series if you can't make them all.
