Economics In One Lesson by Henry Hazlitt

Henry Hazlitt's hope was to reduce the whole teaching of economics to a few principles and explain them in ways that people would never forget. This is the book to send to reporters, politicians, pastors, political activists, teachers, or anyone else who needs to know. Written for the non-academic, it has served as the major antidote to fallacies in the popular press.

    •  Most politicians either ignore or fail to use sound economic principles when voting on funding bills. In most cases politicians concentrate on the visible effects of a funding proposal and do not consider the hidden economic effects. The tendency is to sell the obvious while ignoring the hidden impact of their proposals.
    •  As always another stimulating and entertaining discussion!
    •  I thought it was a very enlightening experience. I can't wait to learn more!
