DescriptionNext Wednesday at the City Council Meeting the subject of "Deferred
Compensation" will be discussed.
Hopefully you have read in the Tallahassee Democrat the articles detailing
how our City Commissioners, the Mayor, the City Attorney and others voted
themselves an annual deferred compensation payment that is not in accordance
with the City Charter. Mr Erwin Jackson has filed an Ethics complaint against
all of them and the Commission is going to discuss this on Wednesday.
If you are available and so inclined, we are encouraging citizens to attend
this meeting and speak up about stopping this practice and repaying the city
treasury for all past payments. The meeting begins at 4:30 at the City Council Chambers, second floor of
the City's building, 300 South Adams Street.
